Rotating Brush
This is also known as the brush roll, it is located at the intake port. This part of the vacuum cleaner extracts dirt from carpets, which is made out of wood, plastic, or metal cylinders with bristles. Designed for carpet floors; electric or air-driven revolving brushes. These can revolve up to 6500 RPM and are driven by a belt to the suction motor. The man role of a brush roll is to loosen dirt from carpet fibers and to move it upward to the suction motor into the vacuum cleaner. This is picked up by air stream.
